The Hotel Pere Marquette engaged the services of Heartland Parking Inc., d/b/a National Garages of Illinois, to equip and operate our 270 space parking deck.

The management of Heartland Parking was very hands on advising the Hotel on items such as proper equipment selection, deck renovations and improvement, operating plans, and staffing levels.

We have been very pleased, with the physical improvements as well as the day-to-day operation maintenance and cleaning performed by Heartland.

It has been my pleasure to work with Heartland Parking since my arrival in the City of Peoria. When I was learning the responsibilities of my position with the City I was advised that Heartland Parking handled the day-to-day management of our parking lots and decks and they have been doing so for over 25 years. I am pleased to say that my experience during this past year has been very positive and that your firm has been extremely reliable and dedicated to serving the customers using our facilities. Our system includes over 4000 parking spaces in four parking decks and several parking lots. During the past year our discussions relative to possible adjustments in service levels and rates have been productive and have always been focused on what impact it will have on our customers and how we can serve them better. Your suggestion to implement credit card payments for our monthly customers is one example of using your business expertise to help our efforts to make it easier for parkers to pay for their service without adding addition expense to our budget. Several improvements were recently completed in our facilities and your firm has been very accommodating, as we have worked through the disruptions caused by this effort to renew our facilities. The positive attitude of you and your staff is a real plus to a successful operation.

I have been a monthly tenant in parking decks managed by National Garages and Heartland Parking for more than 25 years. My experience has been with three different parking decks in Peoria. I have noted that the decks are always well maintained and clean. Snow removal is always handled promptly and professionally. One of the other note worthy aspects of Heartland Parking is that the management consists of long-term employees and that the turnover among parking attendants is relatively low. The parking attendants seem to be well trained and are always very friendly, courteous, and professional in both their appearance and conduct.

I have been parking in the garages managed by Heartland Parking\National Garages for over 15 years in downtown Peoria. The garages are always kept clean, well lit and well maintained. The attendants are friendly and helpful whenever there is a problem. They always wave and say hello when I enter and exit the parking deck.
